About this site

This website has been set up to keep local residents in Whitley ward informed about what's happening in their area and what their Labour councillor team are up to.  If there is something you would like to see on this site that isn't there please get in touch - it's a new site and we hope to develop it.

Message from your councillors:
"As councillors f or Whitley ward, we have two priorities.

The first is to represent everyone in Whitley ward and assist everyone who asks us for help or advice. We can’t always be completely successful but each year we help hundreds of people to get things done or get the rights that they are entitled to.

Secondly, we consistently campaign and work to get projects that will benefit Whitley and its all its residents, young and old, from every section of the community and in every part of Whitley ward. We are currently working to get top quality housing for the elderly, play facilities  to benefit  young families and action  to tackle anti-social behaviour in some “hot spots.”

Please let us know if we can help in any way.  This new website is intended to give another way we can keep in touch and provide useful local information"
